Audit Supervisor

Our client is a well-established, family-run professional services firm with over 35 years of presence in the Cyprus market, providing audit, accounting, tax, advisory, and financial reporting services to both local and international clients.

They are looking for an Audit Supervisor to run audit engagements from planning through to completion, working closely with the Audit Manager and the wider team.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5:30pm, Friday from 8am to 2pm.

• Plan, execute, and complete audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs for local and international clients
• Prepare financial statements
• Coordinate the planning phases of audit engagements and generate budgets
• Establish and maintain the primary working relationship with clients, communicating by email and phone
• Manage multiple assignments and work under pressure
• Report to the Audit Manager on status, progress, completion of audits, and client issues
• Prepare clients’ tax returns and tax computations
• Assist and mentor other team members as required

• University degree with a very good academic background
• Newly qualified or partly qualified accountant with a minimum of 3–4 years of experience in an audit firm
• Knowledge of CaseWare
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both verbal and written (additional languages are an advantage)
• Knowledge of the financial services industry will be considered an advantage
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Methodical, with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver on time
• Strong personality able to build relationships with colleagues, associates and clients
• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and computer literacy
