Sales Operator (Spare Parts & Marine Services)

Our client is a well-established company operating in the maritime transportation sector, based in Limassol, Cyprus.

They are looking for a Sales Operator (Spare Parts & Marine Services) to handle client inquiries, coordinate with suppliers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Actively seek out and identify new customers, expanding the customer base
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular interactions and exceptional customer service
• Handle client enquiries appropriately and ensure a high level of service is provided
• Promote and sell marine spare parts and marine services to potential and existing clients
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations based on customer needs and vessel requirements
• Manage a clientele
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth orders for each vessel
• Establish professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers
• Provide admin and operational support
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services
• Use sales techniques and strategies to close deals and achieve sales targets
• Collaborate with team members to share market insights, sales strategies and best practices
• Prepare regular sales reports and updates, highlighting achievements, challenges and areas for improvement
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position is preferable
• Good commercial awareness of the shipping industry will be considered an advantage
• Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken
• Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and productively as part of a team
